We all enjoyed our time together in Cut Bank, MT. visiting with Alfred Olsen; Linda, Jane and Carol’s father. We spent the day Friday driving over Logan Pass and taking several short hikes to see the amazing mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers and creeks in Glacier National Park.

I came across this in my saved snippets among my MS Word documents. Whether you work all day long pursuing your profession or like me work all day long just living (retired) this is a good thing to remember:
Stress Release
To get rid of those stressful emotions that can build up throughout the day, take at least five minutes every two hours to re-group. Stop everything, relax and shake it out by doing shoulder circles and shaking your arms. Force yourself to breathe deeply. This little break will allow you to have a better focus.

The Butternut Hollow bunch (sans moi) visited the Poulsbo area for the afternoon Saturday. The Poulsbo old town area is a very picturesque area. The area has a nordic them.
The boat harbor next to Poulsbo old town is in Liberty Bay.
As usual, Amira is on the run up the boardwalk along Liberty Bay.

This tree in the back yard has been the most colorful so far this year. Overall the fall colors have been quite subdued this year because of the mild summer and fall.

While varied and beautiful, the leaves don’t seem to have the more brilliant colors that we’ve seen in past years, so far that is.
